Arroyabe at Expo Riva Hotel Fair

From the 26th of January to the 29th, Arroyabe will attend the 38th Expo Riva Hotel Fair which is held in Riva del Garda (Trento, Italy). You will be warmly welcomed at our Stand A02, in the B1 Hall.

First launched in 1979, Expo Riva Hotel has become recognized over the years as one of the most important meeting places for companies operating in the hotel and catering sector.

It is considered nowadays one of the three main events of its sector in Italy.

Arroyabe receives the Award to the Best SME in the Basque Country

Arroyabe received last November 14 in Bilbao, the “Award for Best Agrifood SME” in the Basque Country.

The event was attended by Bittor Oroz, Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries from  the Basque Government and Agustín Ramos, General Secretary of Carrefour Spain.

Arroyabe has been chosen by voting of the guests who visited the campaign “Bertako Produktuak, El Sabor de lo Nuestro”  held by Carrefour from July 23 to August 10 in all of the hypermarkets of Basque Country.

Carrefour recognized with these awards, the work of local SME that stand out for their quality and image in their markets.

 

 

Arroyabe San Sebastian Gastronomika 2013

The next October 8, from 15h to 20h Arroyabe will be in Gastronomika San Sebastian, where you can taste our products and participate in many events organized for the XV edition of this event.

More than thirty chefs from London, Spain and around the world have already confirmed their attendance at the conference to be held 6 to October 9.

New Arroyabe shop in Bermeo

Arroyabe shop opening soon at our facility in Bermeo located at P.I. Landabaso, fase 2. Parcela 9.3.

The store is scheduled to open this June.

Arroyabe at the Tuttofood Trade Fair 2013 in Milan

Next May 19-22, Arroyabe will attend the Tuttofood Trade fair in Milan. TUTTOFOOD, is the leading Italian trade fair in the food industry dedicated to one of the leading sectors of the Italian economy and the world.

TUTTOFOOD has become one of the main platforms for contact between businessmen in the food industry worldwide and is the largest exhibition of the food industry in Italy and the only one with an international profile, dedicated exclusively to qualified professionals, serving as a showcase for the industry’s most innovative ideas. It’s an exhibition with a highly international approach which aims to position itself as one of the major European food fairs.

One of the strengths of the trade show was that a group of foreign buyers from 67 different countries were invited and attended the event, increasing international attendance by 23% in comparison to 2009. The future success of the Tuttofood Trade Fair in Milan, which has only been held twice, lies in its international prominence, unlike other food fairs in Italy, and especially in the long term because Milan is the capital of the Expo2015 in which the show will play a significant role.

Arrain Azoka Fair in Bermeo

This trade fair will be held on May 24-26 in Bermeo, Spain. It is the most important event to present the world of fishing and promote the canning industry.

25 companies will attend this fair where they can showcase their products and offer them for tasting. In addition, throughout the weekend there will be a large number of activities from a mock sale to visiting factories, etc.

Spaghetti with seafood recipe

Ingredients

250g of spaghetti

Arroyabe White Tuna Fillets

Arroyabe Arroyabitos (baby eels)

Olive oil

½ onion

1 tablespoon flour

Fish stock

1 clove of garlic

1 red bell pepper

1 tomato

Salt

White pepper

Preparation

Chop the onion and bell pepper finely and fry them. Add the finely chopped garlic and tomato. When sautéed, add the flour, stirring it quickly for about 3 minutes, preventing it from browning.

Pour in the fish stock slowly while stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add the Arroyabe white tuna fillets and Arroyabitos and cook 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, start cooking the spaghetti separately. Once cooked “al dente” and drained, put in a bowl and cover it with the sauce. Serve with grated cheese.

Tomatoes stuffed with Arroyabe Tuna

Ingredients

1 RO280 can of Arroyabe tuna in olive oil

1 hard boiled egg

Capers, pepper, olives, and mayonnaise

Preparation

Prepare the filling with the Arroyabe white tuna, capers, chopped olives, chopped hard boiled egg, and a little pepper.

Hollow out the tomatoes from the top, fill them with the filling you prepared above, and cover with a little mayonnaise.

Anchoas del Cantábrico con Queso Idiazabal Arroyabe

Ingredients

Arroyabe Cantabrian Anchovies

Idiazabal cheese

Piquillo peppers

Homemade bread

Preparation

Place slices of homemade bread with piquillo peppers on a plate.

Slice the Idiazabal cheese and add it and two or three Arroyabe Cantabrian Anchovy fillets.

Ingredients

Arroyabe Arroyabitos (baby eels)

Arroyabe White Tuna fillets

Lettuce

Endives

Shredded carrots

Olive oil

Sherry Vinegar

Preparation

Finely chop the lettuce and place it in the center of the plate. Separate a few endive leaves and alternate them with some Arroyabe white tuna fillets. Add the shredded carrots to each endive leaf.

Drain the oil from the Arroyabitos, fry them for 1 minute, and place them on top of the lettuce.

Season with a few drops of sherry vinegar and olive oil.
