Seafood Expo Global in Brussels

Arroyabe will attend the Seafood Expo Global that will be held in Brussels (Belgium) from April 21st to 23rd 2015 at the Brussels Expo Exhibition Centre. This global edition of the Seafood Expo gathers companies of fresh, frozen and packaged seafood products, equipment and services. The commitment of Arroyabe at the Seafood Expo is to open to new markets, especially in the European market. All visitors will be warmly welcomed at our Stand 1617, situated at Hall 7.

Visitors to our stand will have the opportunity to see first-hand the range of products offered, such as preserved White Meat Tuna (Bonito del Norte), Yellowfin Tuna and Anchovies. Moreover, Arroyabe will launch at Seafood Expo its new products of Anchovies of the Cantabrian Sea.

Formerly known as the European Seafood Exposition/Seafood Processing Europe, Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global is the largest seafood trade event in the world. The event attracts more than 25,800 buyers and suppliers from more than 150 countries. It provides seafood professionals with direct access to qualified buyers and suppliers from all over the globe representing all aspects of the seafood industry.

Fiera Tirreno CT Arroyabe

Tirreno CT Fair 2015

Arroyabe will attend the 35th edition of Tirreno CT Fair which will be held in Marina di Carrara (Italy) from 23th to 27th February 2015. You will be warmly welcomed at our Stand at B Hall, between corridors 18 and 19.

The aim of Tirreno CT Fair is to promote hospitality, catering and tourism through professional initiatives. It has become the National Exhibition for hotels, bars, ice cream parlors, pastry shops, restaurants and other business activities in Italy.

Las year more than 50.000 visitors attended the Fair, with more than 300 exhibitors that represented 600 corporate brands from all over the country and abroad. The organizers expect that also this year the fair will be the point of reference  for the entire hospitality industry in central Italy, which offers a broad overview of innovation in the tourism sector, shops and hotels.

Premio Eroski a la sostenibilidad

Arroyabe, winner of the Eroski Sustainability Award

Arroyabe is proud to win the Eroski Sustainability Award that recognizes its contribution to local sustainability and the development of an eco-friendly production model. The Basque retail group Eroski has arranged the first edition of the Sustainability Award to reward companies that contribute to local sustainable development.

Various representatives of the retail group were present at the Awards Ceremony, as well as the director for agriculture and fishing of the Basque Government, Bittor Oroz.  The director of Eroski was also present, who stressed the commitment of Arroyabe with the soil, the sea, the employment, the health and the environmental richness. He also enhanced the professionalism and expertise of Arroyabe in the sustainability field.

Arroyabe was elected as the winner of the Award in a popular vote, in which Arroyabe was supported by consumers. Previously, an expert jury chose the three finalists for the prize. Arroyabe would like to publicly thank all the participants in the popular vote their recognition and confidence in the company.

Arroyabe, finalist for the Prize for Sustainability

Arroyabe has been named one of the three finalists for the Prize for Sustainability 2014 organized by the Basque retail group Eroski. A popular vote has been organized in order to select the winner of the prize. Arroyabe invites all its customers to vote for its option at the webpage of the retail group. The voting period will end on December 10th.

The main objective of the Eroski Prize for Sustainability 2014 is to promote the local producers of the Basque Country and strengthen more sustainable business models.

Arroyabe at Fish Fair in Bermeo

Arroyabe will participate in the 20th edition of the Fish Fair (Arrain Azoka) which will take place in Bermeo (Bizkaia) from the 16th May to 18th. You will be warmly welcomed to taste our preserved white meat tuna (Bonito del Norte), tuna, anchovies and “Arroyabitos” (surimi) at our Stand 1.

This fair is positioned as a pioneer in the fish and seafood sector in the Basque Country, which will gather 19 companies this year. Apart from the purchase of products, there will be held different activities related to fishery and the sea world, such as fish sales drill and boat rides.

Arroyabe has been awarded with the Best Agrifood SME Prize

Arroyabe attended on April 22nd the XIII National Conference of SMEs, at which the retail group Carrefour awarded the best agrifood SME and the most innovative company.

The distribution company has recognized Arroyabe as the best agrifood SME of the Basque Country 2013, based on the opinion of its customers. After the awards last November in Bilbao (read article), this time Carrefour has recognized Arroyabe’s merits at the ceremony held in Madrid.

At the same event, the president of Carrefour, Rafael Arias Salgado, reaffirmed its commitment to SMEs. As proof of this, he said that the company made ??purchases worth 7,297 million euros in 2013 to more than 9,300 Spanish companies, 83% of them SMEs .

The ceremony was also attended by the Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Miguel Arias Cañete, who stressed that these awards are “very significant, as they are granted by final consumers.”

 

Arroyabe at Cibus Fair

From May 5th to 8th 2014, Arroyabe will attend the International Food Exhibition of Cibus, Parma (Italy). You will be warmly welcomed at our Stand L062, in the Hall 5.

Cibus is the key event of the Italian food sector, enabling companies to meet the major distributors, importers and professional of domestic and foreign markets. The fair is reserved to food professionals of retail, import-export and Ho.Re.Ca from Italy and abroad.

In 2012, more than 63.000 qualified visitors coming from over 90 countries attended the fair. For 2014 the aim is to confirm the success reached during the last edition.

Arroyabe at Alimentaria 2014 Fair

From March 31st to April 3rd 2014, Arroyabe will attend the International Food and Drinks Exhibition of Barcelona. You will be warmly welcomed at our Stand E/80-6, in the Hall 2, called “Interpesca”.

Alimentaria is a trade fair of reference for all Food and Beverage professionals, focused on innovation, the latest trends and internationalisation. There will be 14 specialist shows this year, with the latest in each sector. Arroyabe will take part in the show related to the fishery industry (Interpesca).

More than 3.800 companies from 40 countries will attend the fair, which is a meeting point for leading manufacturers and distributors from the food and beverage industry, as well as SMEs that wish to internationalise.
